The floating companion uses Picture in Picture and is part of Chibi Pro. Check that your subscription is active in the app's Shop tab.

If you are subscribed and it still won't appear, open the iOS Settings app, go to General, then Picture in Picture, and make sure "Start PiP Automatically" is turned on. Fully closing and reopening Chibi after changing that setting usually resolves it.

Watch Together needs screen sharing to be running. When you start it, iOS shows a picker — select Chibi ScreenWatch and tap Start Broadcast. You should see a red or blue indicator in your status bar while it is active.

If reactions stop partway through a long session, stop and restart the broadcast. iOS gives screen recording extensions a strict memory budget and will shut one down silently when it is exceeded.

Chibi needs microphone access to hear you. Open iOS Settings, scroll to Chibi, and make sure Microphone is enabled.

If you can talk but cannot hear her, check that your ringer is not silenced and that your volume is up while the app is open.

Focus mode uses Apple's Screen Time system, so iOS asks for your permission the first time you enable it. If you declined, open iOS Settings, go to Screen Time, then Apps with Screen Time Access, and allow Chibi.

Focus mode is part of Chibi Pro.

Open the Shop tab and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple Account and reapplies your subscription.

Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you used to purchase, and to the same Chibi account. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Chibi, and choose Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Apple handles all billing and refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account that made the purchase.

We cannot issue refunds directly, but if something went wrong on our side, tell us and we will help you make the case.

Open the Settings tab in the app and choose Delete Account. This removes your profile, chat history and preferences.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Chibi is built for iPhone. It is not currently available for iPad or Android.

Screen frames captured during Watch Together are analysed and discarded within seconds — they are never stored. Chat history is kept in your account so your companion can remember your conversations, and you can delete all of it at any time.
